IRA Accounts Individual Retirement Account (IRA) plans allow members to save tax dollars now and earn tax deferred interest for their retirement. We have two types of IRA accounts-share and certificate. Regular IRA's have a minimum deposit of $500.00. Deposits may be made at any time through payroll deduction, by mail, or in person, provided they do not exceed the federal requirements for maximum yearly contributions. Dividends on regular IRA Accounts are paid quarterly. We also have a certificate IRA (12 months) plan. Dividends on IRA Certificate accounts are posted monthly. These accounts are insured separately up to $100,000 by the National Credit Union Administration. Roth and Education IRA accounts are also available.
